Police are investigating three incidents where bear spray was used in North Central on Wednesday.

The first assault happened around 3:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of Garnet Street. A woman was walking home when she was sprayed in the face with bear spray. The victim was treated by EMS, but police say she did not suffer any serious injuries.

The second incident happened around 7:10 p.m. in the 1400 block of Robinson Street. A driver got into a dispute with a pedestrian, and police say the pedestrian pulled out a can of bear spray and sprayed the driver in the face. Police were called to the scene, but did not find the pedestrian. The driver did not suffer serious injuries.

The third incident happened in the park on the 1200 block of Athol Street just before midnight. Two men were socializing with a group of people when they were sprayed in the face. The suspects fled after the assault. Injuries to the two men were minor.

Police do not know if the three incidents are related.
