A 25 year-old man is facing robbery and theft charges a robbery in Regina two month ago.

On Sept. 1, Regina police were called to a business in the 1600 block of Dewdney Avenue East after a report of a robbery.

Police say a man entered the business and ordered customers to get on the floor before proceeding to take an undisclosed amount of money from one of the business employees before leaving.

The suspect was apparently armed, but police believe the firearm used was a realistic-looking imitation.

On Nov. 7th, police arrested Royce Wayne Jasper, 25, in relation to a stolen vehicle case. Police also believe he is the same man that committed the robbery back in September.

Jasper made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016.
