Regina police used a Taser on a 22-year-old man while attempting to arrest him on Thursday afternoon.
Police were at the 1400 block of McTavish Street around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday to arrest a man who had outstanding warrants.
Officers say the man became aggressive and didn’t listen to instructions, so they used a Taser on him.
The man was taken into custody after a brief physical altercation.
The man was checked by EMS at the scene, and taken to the Regina police detention centre.
Charges are pending.
