Concerns are being raised about management of IT contracts at a second University of Regina-based research centre.
The Saskatchewan government says the Petroleum Technology Research Centre may have entered into an untendered contract with a company called ClimbIT.
The centre is under the direction of Malcolm Wilson.
Wilson was also at the helm of a carbon dioxide storage assessment centre when it got into a sole-sourced IT deal with Climate Ventures Inc. -- which then subcontracted to ClimbIT.
The province says Wilson was connected to Climate Ventures.
A call to the Petroleum Technology Research Centre for comment was not immediately returned.
