A woman wanted on a warrant for allegedly uttering threats against a Yorkton high school student on social media has been arrested.

RCMP say 18-year-old Monica Tataquason has been located and arrested on the outstanding charges.

The arrest comes after a threat against a female student was received over the weekend and reported to police Monday.

Yorkton Regional High School was put on “hold and secure” for the rest of the day as a precaution.

Tataquason has been released on conditions, including having no contact with the alleged victim. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 20 in Yorkton.
