RCMP say speed and alcohol may have contributed to an ATV crash that killed a Saskatchewan man.
The crash happened about three kilometres northwest of the community of Viceroy on Saturday, RCMP said in a news release Wednesday.
They say the ATV went over a small ridge and crashed into a ditch, throwing the driver from the machine.
The driver, a 37-year-old man from the Viceroy area, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Police said the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Viceroy is located about 150 kilometres southwest of Regina.
