RCMP are executing a search warrant at a rural property in Davidson as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Rob Vicente.
Police are bringing in two cadaver dogs from Calgary to assist in the search of the property, located near Highway 44 in Davidson. The dogs are trained to detect bodies that are buried in the ground.
The Calgary police canine section has been searching other sites of interest in the area since Monday. This latest search is at a different property than the one RCMP searched on Oct. 20.
An RCMP underwater recovery team will also be assisting in the search. They will be using remote-operated underwater cameras to search wells on the property.
Police say the searches stem from information they received from the public. RCMP are asking landowners in the Davidson, Craik and Bladworth areas to check their properties for anything suspicious that may be connected to the disappearance of Vicente.
Vicente has been missing since Oct. 10. About a week after he disappeared, police found the Bladworth resident's burned-out car in an abandoned field west of Davidson.
