A Regina man was charged in connection with an alleged fraud involving a provincial sports association.

Police allege a man of misappropriation of almost $80,000 between June, 2007 and July,2010 from a provincial sport-governing association.

44-year-old Kelly Boyd Clark was arrested in Regina on Monday after a complaint in 2010, alleging a former employee of defrauding the sport-governing body.

Clark is charged with fraud over $5,000, three charges of forgery and three charges of uttering a forged document.

He was released from custody and will appear in  court on June 13.
