A plea bargain has been reached with two Regina women originally facing second-degree murder charges.
Rosalyn Wilm and her daughter Sarah Wilm were charged last year after the body of 53-year-old Ray Yacevich was pulled from the wreckage of a house fire in the North Central neighbourhood.
All three had lived in the home together.
As part of the plea deal reached Friday morning, both women pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter.
The judge sentenced each of them to eight-and-a-half years in prison.
