Regina police have laid charges following a fatal crash last fall.

The two-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue Avenue and Pinkie Road on Sept. 28, 2012.

Police say the driver of one of the vehicles disobeyed a stop sign and hit the other vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that was struck, a 28-year-old man, died of his injuries.

A 16-year-old girl has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act with disobeying a stop sign, having too many passengers as a novice driver and possession of liquor by a minor.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
