Three men are facing robbery charges in connection with the attempted theft of a vehicle in North Central Regina.
Police say officers responded to a report of a robbery at the corner of Seventh Avenue and McTavish Street early Monday morning. It’s alleged that three men tried to steal a truck from another man.
A canine unit helped police track down and arrest three suspects. Some of the men were treated for minor injuries that they sustained while being apprehended.
Dale James Deschambault, 24, of Prince Albert, and 18-year-old Brandon Michael James Bellegarde and Colin Ray Stonechild, 19, both from Regina, have each been charged with robbery and mischief under $5,000.
The three men made their first court appearance Monday morning.
