The Regina Police Service is investigating a morning robbery in the 1900 block of Ottawa Street.

According to police, officers were called to the block around 8:05 a.m. Saturday after a woman walking down the street was approached by a man asking for money. The woman was pushed to the ground and the man left the area with her bag, police said in a news release.

The suspect is described as Aboriginal, around 5’8” tall with a muscular build and a pock marked face. He is about 45 years old with shoulder length brown hair. He was wearing a black spring jacket and blue jeans.
