The Regina Police Service and the Office of the Chief Coroner are calling the death of a 35-year-old man on Sunday a homicide. It is Regina’s ninth homicide of 2017.

Police say they were called to the 1200 block of Retallack Street around 2:45 a.m. after reports of an injured man. The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have identified the victim as 35-year-old Thurston James Mintuck. His family has been notified.
