Regina police are looking for two suspects in an attempted armed robbery outside a bank.

Police responded to a report that a driver had attempted to block in another vehicle after the other motorist had just finished using a drive-thru ATM kiosk.

Two men, one armed with a long-barrelled gun, got out of the suspect vehicle, but the victims were able to drive around the other vehicle and drove away, police said in a news release Thursday.

The incident happened in the 4200 block of Albert Street shortly before 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

The man armed with the long-barrelled gun is described as wearing a black balaclava mask with eyes cut out. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as wearing a dark toque. Police believe the vehicle is a white Buick Rendezvous SUV.

Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
