Residents of Mosquito First Nation talking about girl's death
Police have yet to confirm her identity, but people on the Mosquito First Nation are still talking about the little girl who was mauled to death by dogs earlier this week.
RCMP initially reported the victim was three years old, but neighbours say that that Flora Francis was just 21-months-old.
Francis was attacked at a property on the Mosquito First Nation, south of the Battlefords on Sunday. The toddler had apparently wandered away from her home.
The dogs were not tied up or fenced in, and both have since been euthanized.
Sources tell CTV the girl's funeral is Thursday morning.
