The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be putting forward a bid to bring the Grey Cup back to Regina in 2020.
CEO Craig Reynolds announced the team’s plans this week.
Regina last hosted the Grey Cup at Taylor Field in 2013, where the Riders won on home turf. If the 2020 bid is successful, it would be first championship game at the new Mosaic Stadium.
The final bids need to be into the Canadian Football League by November. A host announcement will be made following the 2018 season.
