A 54-year-old Saskatchewan man is facing child pornography charges.

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit says it began investigating in early May after child pornography was uploaded to online cloud storage.

On Tuesday, police arrested a man after carrying out a search warrant at a home in Eatonia, Sask., where numerous computer and storage devices were seized.

William James Winsley of Eatonia has been charged with possessing child pornography. He appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Wednesday morning and was remanded until a bail hearing scheduled for Friday.

The investigation is ongoing and investigators believe there may be other potential victims. Anyone with knowledge of Winsley’s online activity is asked to contact the RCMP or their local police service.
