The Saskatchewan New Democratic Party is opening up the books in the race for a new leader.
The party has published the first monthly financial disclosure statements of the four NDP leadership candidates, as well as a list of those who have donated $250 or more to each candidate.
Saskatoon MLA Cam Broten raised the most in September -- $19,694.99 -- while Regina MLA Trent Wotherspoon spent the most -- $26,792.34.
Saskatoon physician Ryan Meili had $13,188.81 in contributions and economist Erin Weir reached $14,666.89.
The party says the next financial statement from the candidates will be published in mid-November.
