A new union being formed at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology is accusing the existing union of using unfair tactics.

The SIAST Faculty Association has filed a complaint with the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board over the tactics of the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees' Union.

The SGEU has filed its own submissions, saying its actions are justified. Representatives from the existing union are set to meet with officials from the National Union of Public and General Employees.

Meanwhile, SFA representatives say they have been able to drum up plenty of support at each of the SIAST campuses, and that their only goal is proper representation of employees.
