Sierra D'Souza Butts
ContactSierra D’Souza Butts joined CTV News Yorkton in late 2023 as a Multi Media Journalist.
Before moving to Yorkton, she worked as a journalist for The World-Spectator in Moosomin where she quickly grew an interest for rural topics and issues. Sierra reports on a wide range of subjects, but enjoys covering stories on education, health care and agriculture most.
When she’s not reporting, Sierra is usually travelling, staying active and spending time with her family back home in Toronto.
Prior to moving to Saskatchewan, Sierra grew up in Scarborough, Ont. She attended Carleton University in 2021 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism. She also holds a Media Literacy, Critical Thinking and Investigative Journalism certificate from the University of Manitoba.
Sierra speaks English.
