Snow routes declared in Queen City
Published Monday, December 4, 2017 3:50PM CST
The City of Regina has declared that snow routes are in effect, banning parking along marked routes for 24 hours starting Tuesday morning.
The ban will begin Tuesday morning at 6:00 a.m. and will last until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The ban allows plows to clear streets from curb-to-curb and ensures that emergency vehicles can drive safely through neighbourhoods.
The routes are Victoria Avenue between Broad Street and Winnipeg Street, Winnipeg Street between Victoria Avenue and College Avenue, and College Avenue between Winnipeg Street and Arcola Avenue.
Vehicles parked on the snow routes during the temporary ban will be ticketed.
