It appears Regina residents won’t be weighing in on the new stadium.
On Monday night, a petition calling for a referendum on the plan was presented to city council.
The petition contained about 10,000 signatures, only half the amount required to trigger a referendum.
A few people at the meeting asked councillors to grant a referendum anyway, but that didn’t happen.
