STARS air ambulance was called into action Saturday morning after two-vehicle crash near the Carry the Kettle First Nation.

Officers from the File Hills police department responded to the scene on the 606 grid just south of town at 9:30 a.m.

In total, eight people were involved in the crash. All were taken to hospital. One person was air lifted to Regina, while another was brought to Regina by ambulance.

The other six people involved were transported to hospitals in Indian Head and Wolseley with non-life threating injuries.

The scene was closed off for several hours while police worked to clear the area. An investigation is ongoing.
