RCMP are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and assaulted on the Pasqua First Nation last month.

Thirty-two-year-old Sidney Roy Pelletier from the Muscowpetung First Nation is wanted for aggravated assault and other charges.

Police say a 32-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and assaulted by the driver and passenger while he was walking along a road on the reserve on June 1.

The victim was taken to hospital in Fort Qu'Appelle, where he was treated for his injuries and later released.

RCMP say the collision was not an accident and that the victim knows the two suspects.

Last month, 33-year-old Tony Lee Cyr was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Anyone with information about Pelletier's whereabouts is being asked to call Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP at 332-2222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
