Three people have been charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping after leaving a 21-year-old woman in a field outside of Regina.

According to the Regina Police Service, the RCMP said they found the woman in a field on Wednesday morning. She had been taken to hospital. Police say the woman told officers she had been taken the day before from a home in the 1200 block of McTavish Street. Police believe the victim and her kidnappers knew each other.

The woman told police she had been assaulted, put in the trunk of a vehicle and driven out of Regina to a rural area. She was seen by someone driving by, who helped her and contacted police.

Cze-Sand Banab, 21, Allyson Kristina Bachiu, 28, and Jamie Dale Miller, 36, have all been charged with kidnapping. Bachiu and Miller have also been charged with aggravated assault.

All three appeared in court on Friday afternoon.
