A tornado has knocked out power and left a path of destruction near Shaunavon.

RCMP say funnel clouds were spotted in the area around 3 p.m. Thursday.

No injuries have been reported. The tornado damaged some grain storage bins in the area.

Police are directing traffic away from debris scattered along Highway 37.

A spokesman for SaskPower says at least 20 customers were without electricity.

CTV News has received reports that schools in the town were locked down until the tornado passed.
