A Canadian Pacific Railway train has collided with a tractor-trailer west of Regina, causing a derailment.
CPR spokeswoman Salem Woodrow says the westbound freight train struck the semi at a crossing just west of Caron on Monday afternoon.
She says 21 empty cars and two locomotives went off the tracks.
Woodrow says the train's two crew members were not injured and the truck driver was taken to hospital in Moose Jaw with unknown injuries.
It's the second derailment of a CPR train in less than a month in the same area -- 24 cars carrying asphalt, lumber and contained gasoline went off the tracks near Caron on July 16.
There were no leaks, and no injuries or evacuations.
