Two people are facing charges after an armed robbery in southeastern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say a man and a woman entered a business in Oxbow on Sunday afternoon. The pair looked around and left before the man returned a short time later and demanded money from the cashier.
The man allegedly pulled out a knife and left with an undetermined amount of cash. The two suspects fled in a stolen truck. No one was hurt in the incident.
Police later received a report that a second vehicle had been stolen from a business in Carlyle. Both suspects were arrested without incident by RCMP near Herbert on Sunday night.
Daniel Loveys, 27, and Ashley Loucks, 23, have each been charged with armed robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft over $5,000. Both were scheduled to make their first court appearance Monday morning in Swift Current.
