Two people are facing charges after a SWAT team was called to a home in North Central Regina.
Police investigating a weapon-related offence carried out a search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of Argyle Street on Wednesday morning.
A SWAT team assisted in executing the search warrant due to the possibility of firearms in the home, police said.
At around 12:30 p.m., a man and a teenaged boy exited the house and were taken into custody.
Police say they found quantities of cocaine and marijuana, along with drug-trafficking paraphernalia, ammunition, firearm parts, an air pistol, Canadian currency, two stolen motorcycles and an ATV. Officers also found keys to a vehicle located a few blocks away that was reported stolen earlier this month.
The youth was also charged in connection with two recent break-and-enter thefts on March 26.
The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, is facing six charges, including drug trafficking and break-and-enter charges.
Alexander Jacob Belanger, 20, of Regina faces charges including drug trafficking and assaulting a peace officer.
Both accused were scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
