Two people were killed in a vehicle collision in northern Saskatchewan.

RCMP responded to the head-on crash between a car and a truck on Highway 106, four kilometres west of Creighton, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The male driver of the car and a male occupant in the truck were pronounced dead at the scene. A female occupant in the truck was taken to hospital in Flin Flon, Man. with undisclosed injuries.

The names of the deceased have not been released.

Police say the highway was covered with snow and icy at the time of the crash. RCMP are continuing their investigation.
