Two men are facing multiple charges after a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
Police say they pulled over a Ford F-150 in the 1300 block of King Street around 2:00 a.m. The truck matched the description of a vehicle that evaded police last week, police said in a news release. The man driving the vehicle and his passenger exited the vehicle without incident. According to police, the passenger had breached a number of conditions. Officers found a loaded, sawed-off rifle and marijuana in the truck. The two men were charged in connection to the rifle and drugs.
Jason Dieon Tanner, 35, and Corey James Wasnik, 38, are facing multiple charges, including careless use of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a loaded, prohibited firearm.
Both men made their first court appearances on Monday morning.
