Two teenaged girls are facing charges after a pair of crashes involving a stolen vehicle in Regina.

Around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called after a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Winnipeg Street and Victoria Avenue.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by EMS.

The vehicle fled the scene, and police say the female driver and pedestrian knew each other prior to the incident.

Moments later, police were dispatched to another crash involving the same vehicle at the intersection of Broad Street and Second Avenue.

Police say the vehicle hit a tree and part of a house on the 200 block of Broad Street. Two suspects fled on foot and were arrested a short time later.

Victoria Lee Andrews, 18, of Regina and a 17-year-old Regina girl, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have both been charged in connection with the incident.
