Two men have been shot in Regina's North Central neighbourhood in the span of 24 hours.

A 21-year-old man is in hospital with critical injuries after a shooting in North Central Regina early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to 1100 block of Garnet Street around 5:15 a.m. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.

Investigators blocked off the scene after the man was found. They say they do not currently have any suspects.

In a separate incident, a second man checked himself into hospital on Monday afternoon after a shooting on the 900 block of Retallack Street.

Police were called to the scene around 4:00 p.m. When they arrived, the man had already gone to the hospital.

Police secured the scene and began an investigation. They are not releasing any further details about the incident.
