Two people have died after a plane crash near Swift Current on Thursday evening.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. just southeast of the Swift Current Regional Airport.A 60-year-old man from Saint-Felix-De-Dalquier, Que. and a 35-year-old man from Saint-Remi, Que. are the two who died after a plane crash near Swift Current on Thursday evening.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. just southeast of the Swift Current Regional Airport, according to RCMP.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the fixed-wing aircraft on the ground. The two men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is leading an investigation into the crash.
