Premier Brad Wall has talked up his party's past help for farmers and ranchers at the opening of a new agriculture equipment dealership east of Regina.
Wall says his government provided a lot of financial support to producers hard hit by unprecedented flooding over the last two years.
The premier also says the Saskatchewan Party fulfilled promises to fund federal-provincial agriculture programs and improve crop insurance coverage.
Wall says producers can continue to expect strong support if the Sask. Party is re-elected Nov. 7, but he hasn't offered anything new to the agriculture sector.
A lack of big spending promises during the campaign is part of what Wall says is a plan to keep costs in check.
He has laid out an election platform that he says focuses on growth and affordability for residents and government.
