The Saskatchewan government is once again hiring for “the best summer job ever.”

Starting next Wednesday, the province will be accepting student applications for the third installment of its Saskatchewanderer project.

The successful applicant will travel around the province and blog about their adventures in a bid to market and raise awareness of the province.

Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Kevin Doherty says there may be some new twists in store for this year’s Saskatchewanderer.

“We might issue a challenge or two to this year's wanderer to shake things up,” Doherty said in a news release. “But you'll have to follow him or her to see what that entails."

Last year, Jeff Stock succeeded Andrew Konoff as the province’s Saskatchewanderer.

Students can apply for the job at www.saskatchewanderer.ca. Submissions will be accepted from Feb. 13 to March 1.
