The wife of a Regina man accused of killing his brother took the stand at his murder trial Tuesday.

Steven Pascal is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his brother, 22-year-old Trent Pascal of Regina.

The wife of the accused, Terra Pascal, testified that a dispute between the two brothers spilled out onto the street, and that she saw the victim chasing the accused down the road, armed with a golf club.

The victim suffered a stab wound in the incident, though Terra Pascal testified that she was standing too far away to see exactly what happened.

Trent Pascal was found seriously injured in the 900 block of Athol Street in May 2015. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

The trial is expected to last into next week.
