A woman has died in hospital after the motorcycle she was driving collided with a pickup truck near Carlyle, Sask.

Police and emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision in the westbound lane of Highway 13 around 7 p.m. Saturday.

RCMP say the driver of the motorcycle, a 75-year-old woman, was taken to hospital in Regina, where she died of her injuries Sunday morning. Her name has not been released.

The driver and two other occupants of the pickup truck were not injured.

Traffic was detoured for six hours following the collision, which remains under investigation.
