A woman has serious injuries after a bus knocked down a pole that fell and struck the woman waiting for her bus Friday afternoon.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
The bus was being driven by a 39-year-old male transit driver and was carrying four passengers. Besides the woman struck by the pole, no one was injured.
Police are investigating the accident.
