The deaths of two women whose bodies were found on a rural property near Glaslyn have been ruled a murder-suicide by RCMP.

Police found the body of a 51-year-old woman outside a home on the property and the body of a 56-year-old woman inside the home around 3 p.m. on March 6.

On Tuesday, RCMP said one of the women killed the other before taking her own life. Police would not say which woman is believed to have committed the murder-suicide.

RCMP are withholding the names of the deceased and the causes of death at the request of the families.

Glaslyn is located about 200 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
