Investigators have turned up an important clue as to the cause of a fire that tore through an apartment block in a Saskatchewam community last week.
Yorkton fire Chief Trevor Morrisey says the fire started in a storage room in the lower level of a section once used as a hospital.
But he can't yet say for certain what sparked the blaze Dec. 3 in the Robert Place Apartments.
He says investigators are still looking at a number of possibilities.
No one was seriously hurt in the fire, although two people were treated for smoke inhalation.
Morrisey says insurance adjustors have not yet indicated whether the building will be replaced or repaired.
