Regina’s famous Bruce Almighty has a new forever home according to a Facebook post from the Regina Humane Society.

The famous feline was brought into the humane society’s care earlier this year after he was found with electrical tape around his legs. The Regina Humane Society created a Go Fund Me page to help with his treatment and it quickly went viral. The campaign raised more than $20,000.

In the Facebook post, the humane society thanked everyone who donated to the campaign and provided love and caring for Bruce. “He is a determined little fighter that surprised many as he triumphed over numerous hurdles and challenges during his long recovery.

Thursday the humane society announced his adoption online, saying “the staff at the RHS will never forget you, nor will so many caring people from Regina, Canada, and around the globe. By the looks of you cuddled up to your new adoptive Mom, we have no doubt your new life will be filled with an abundance of joy and love!”
