RCMP say they are now treating the death of a missing Saskatchewan man as a homicide.
Joey John Yooya from Black Lake was found shot to death just east of the northern community last Thursday, two days after the 21-year-old went missing.
Police say a potential suspect is currently in custody on an unrelated matter.
The RCMP Major Crimes Section in Saskatoon is assisting in the investigation.
Black Lake is located about 890 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
