The Crown wrapped up their case against Elijah Noname on Wednesday morning.
Noname is charged with second degree murder in the 2013 death of Nolen Tanner.
The Crown called more than 20 witnesses, including police officers, first responders, and several people who were at the Halloween house party on the 500 block of Montreal Street where Tanner died.
Several police officers described finding a chaotic scene on the street when they arrived, followed by finding Tanner gasping for air while lying on the ground in the backyard.
Other witnesses, including Tanner's girlfriend and sister testified how Noname starting shooting after a brawl in front of the house.
The defense is set to begin its case on Thursday. Noname is expected to testify in his own defense.
