Heather Anderson
Heather Anderson is Anchor of the CTV News at Six.
Based in Regina, Heather is happy to contribute to the community where she was born and raised.
Heather attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Calgary, Alberta, where she graduated with honours from the Broadcast News program. Heather started her broadcast career in 2008 at Global Regina, where she served in numerous newsroom capacities; including reporting, producing, and anchoring, and in 2011 she was recruited to help develop and launch the station’s Morning News program.
In 2014, Heather made the move to CTV Regina, becoming Co-Anchor of the CTV News at Six. Since serving in this role, she’s had the opportunity to travel to many communities, meeting with residents and telling their stories from across Southern Saskatchewan, in part thanks to CTV’s Hometown Tour.
In 2016, she travelled to Northern Saskatchewan to help provide extensive coverage about devastating wildfires. In 2018, she helped lead Saskatchewan’s coverage of the Humboldt Bronco’s bus crash, delicately telling the stories of those who were impacted by the tragedy, that united the province and country in grief.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband, Nikkoli, and their dog, Holly.
She speaks English.
