Regina police have laid more homicide charges connection with the death of a Regina man. 30-year-old John Earl Desjarlais of Regina is charged with first degree murder. Previously, he  made a court appearance on charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement and assault.

34-year-old Reno Lee was found dead after an investigation led police to an area north of Balcarres, Sask. The investigation began on April 23, 2015.

Three other men have been charged in connection with Lee’s death. Earlier in May 31-year-old Daniel Theodore and 21-year-old Andrew Michael Bellegarde, both from Regina, were each charged with first-degree murder. Bronson Chad Gordon, of Regina, was arrested in Edmonton on a Canada-wide warrant.

Jonie Victoria Reed, 29, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Police say the crime is still under investigation.
