Regina man creates snow sculpture to spread joy and inspire donations

Share

A Regina man has created a snow sculpture of a Santa head to spread joy and inspire donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Local artist Bron Nurkowski named his Santa figure “A Gift of a Smile,” which he hopes brings smiles to people’s faces.

Big Brothers The Ignite a Little Sparkle Campaign, running throughout the holiday season, aims to raise $10,000 to support mentoring programs in the community.

The display is at 3027 Elphinstone Street.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by the sculpture at 3027 Elphinstone Street to take photos and share their holiday spirit on social media using #Ignitealittlesparkle

This year will mark the fourth year Nurkowski has made snow sculptures in his front yard.

The fundraising campaign will be going on until Jan. 4 and donations can be made online here.
