Regina police investigating collision between vehicle and pedestrian

Police are investigating a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in downtown Regina.

Victoria Avenue west bound between Rose Street and Hamilton Street, as well as Hamilton Street between 12th Avenue and Victoria Avenue, have been shut down, according to a release from the Regina Police Service (RPS).

The RPS Traffic Safety Unit are conducting the investigation.

Police said the affected roads reopened around 8 p.m. Friday.

The investigation continues.

Police had not yet provided an update on the pedestrian's condition as of Friday evening.
