The 14th annual BreakOut West music festival hits the Queen City this weekend as part of the 2016 Canadian Western Music Awards.

More than 60 musical acts are scheduled to perform at 11 venues across Regina.

Performers from Canada’s western provinces and territories will be attendance, including Saskatchewan’s own Rosie and the Riveters.

"It feels incredible to be here. We love performing in Saskatchewan and we love being in Regina,” said Allyson Reigh, a singer for Rosie and the Riveters.

“It’s especially amazing for us because we're nominated for a CWMA (Canadian Western Music Award) and it's a dream come true, really."

The festival will wrap up on Sunday.
