Renovations on the Queen City’s first “Build Love” project have officially begun.
Construction started over the weekend and is now in full swing. The project is helping the Kennedy family — their home has some areas that made it difficult for their daughter, Vienna, to move around.
Build Love has more than 60 tradespeople, contractors and suppliers working on different parts of the renovation to make it easier for Vienna to move independently.
“It’s quite amazing to hear all of the different things they might be doing, and we don’t the final form they’ll all take, but we’re certainly excited and thankful this is happening. It’s just amazing,” Vienna’s father Jared Kennedy said.
The Kennedy family will be staying with other family members during the renovations. Construction should wrap up in early November.
